Tradesman makes surprising discovery in Invercargill roof

A Kiwi tradesman was shocked to discover a sex toy in the ceiling of a house while repairing its roof.

The anonymous roofer was repairing the residential property in Invercargill at 2pm yesterday when he came across the large black dildo.

His cousin Logan Hattrill, 31, shared a hilarious image of the sex toy nestled in the rafters on social media – and admitted his relative simply replaced the roof and carried on.

Stay-at-home dad Logan, from Ashburton said: "My cousin was working on a residential property when he found it.

"He was up replacing the roof, and had pulled the old iron roof off.

"When he removed the iron he saw the dildo and took a photo of it.

"He then put the new roof over the top of it because they didn't want to touch it.

"We have no idea how it got there, it's Invercargill.

"I've seen one in a gutter before – and someone commented on the post saying they found another one in the roof of a mall in Auckland."
