Puzzle fans have been left surprised by a set of insulting words including "spinster" and "Toxoplasmosis" hidden in a puzzle book's word search.
After a man bought his girlfriend a copy of Crazy Cat Lady Coloring Book as a joke, he posted one of the puzzles to Imgur, highlighting anumber of offensive words hidden among the "kitty-related" words to find.
Known on Imgur as RhodesRuggar, he added the caption: "Word search got dark. Got my girlfriend a crazy cat lady coloring book as a joke. The word search has a bunch of other words in it... (Prozac, Insanity, Depression, Spinster, Lonesome, Reclusive, Lonely)."

The post has been viewed over 560,000 times and received more than 100 comments from users identifying more offensive terms hidden in the puzzle.
One beady-eyed person spotted the word "Toxoplasmosis", a parasitic disease that can be contracted from cats.
According to Amazon's description of the book, it's a title "intended for adults" and "celebrates the cultural icon that is the Crazy Cat Lady".

The description adds that the book is: "A twenty-four page, 8" x 10-1/4" (20.3 cm x 26 cm) celebration of the happiness that comes from living with kitties. Features the story of our Crazy Cat Lady, cat-related activity pages and cats to color. Meow."
As well as finding other offensive words, Imgur users have debated whether or not the insults were deliberate.
RhodesRuggar pointed out: "The other pages are so light-hearted though! It's like they contracted someone to make it who hates cats. Maybe they're dating a cat lady."
