Marc Jacobs proposed to his boyfriend in a fast food restaurant on Wednesday.
The 54-year-old designer got down on one knee and popped the question to his beau Charly DeFrancesco in Chipotle - a Mexican food chain - in New York City after a flashmob, seemingly organised by the fashionguru, broke out into a dance to Prince's hit song Kiss.
In a clip of the special moment, which was posted on Marc's Instagram account, candlemaker Charly can be seen nodding yes as the dance comes to an end, reported the Daily Mail.
Despite the musical display, which included the waiting staff dancing along, taking up most of the restaurant, fellow diners didn't even bat an eyelid as they tucked into their food.
The loved-up couple then embraced one another and shared a romantic smooch.
He accompanied the sweet video with the caption: "And this happened...'Charly Defrancesco will you marry me?' #flashmobatchipotle #moves. Thank you everyone for making this happen. And to my Ride or Die fiance I love you. [sic]"
The proposal no doubt came as a huge surprise to Charly as it happened to be his birthday as well - meaning he probably thought the meal out was to celebrate his milestone.
He said: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the love of my life!!! @chardefrancesco [sic]"
Charly later shared the same version of the proposal on his account and wrote: "GET READY FOR THE ALL TIME GAG!!!!! Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. [sic]"
This isn't the first time Marc has been engaged as he was previously set to wed Lorenzo Martone - who he started dating in 2008 - but they split a year after their engagement.
Despite their break up and since moving on, the pair remain close friends.
