Man who took engagement photo of two strangers tries to find them

A photographer has attempted to track down two strangers who he witnessed getting engaged at Yosemite National Park earlier this month.

Matthew Dippel from Grand Rapids, Michigan, was on Taft Point at the national park in California when he spotted a proposal from across the cliffs, reports The Daily Mail.
Inspired, the man took a stunning engagement picture and is now using Twitter to hunt down the newly engaged couple.

"Twitter help, idk who these two are but I hope this finds them," Matthew wrote on Wednesday. "I took this at Taft Point at Yosemite National Park, on October 6th, 2018."

The picture shows the exact moment a man got down on his knee to propose to the woman he was with as they stood next to the cliff edge.

Since Matthew took the photograph on Oct. 6, he has been attempting to find the couple so they can have the image for themselves.

The photograph has been shared more than 90,000 times on Twitter as followers around the world are working to help the photograph locate the newly engaged couple.

But the wait has proven to be too much for some people.

One person commented: "Me looking through all the replies to see if anyone found them yet."

Another person couldn't understand where the couple could possibly be to have not yet seen the viral post.

Gifs became a quick source of communication between the followers of the tweet, and one person hilariously shared one of Michelle Tanner from Full House with her saying, "This is taking forever."

Matthew updated followers on the status of the hunt Friday after the tweet continued to gain popularity on the internet.

"Update: Still have not found them," he wrote to the disappointment of many.
