Kiwi woman Bailey Price will have her buttock tattooed in Miami after TradeMe auction fetches thousands

Wellingtonian Bailey Price, 20, is going on all expenses paid trip to Miami - to have an advert tattooed onto her butt.

The Wellington woman who auctioned off space on her bottom for a tattoo is going on all expenses paid trip to Miami to have the artwork completed.

In one of the strangest stories of the year, Kiwi Bailey Price put one of her buttocks up for auction on TradeMe, for the winning bidder to add a tattoo of their choice of up to 9cm x 9cm.

Blonde Price, 20, said on her listing that "I will be getting the tattoo done at the place of my choice, but if the winner is in the Wellington region they are welcome to come and watch ;)."

However, the winning bid of $6500 was placed on Wednesday, by a man identified as "Paul", in Australia - who turns out to be the cousin of American musician "Sir" Ivan Wilzig.

Wilzig, 60, who goes by the stage name Sir Ivan, will now feature Price's posterior, with either 'SIR IVAN's "IMAGINE" on iTunes' or 'SIRIVAN.com' beneath a rainbow being the final design.

Price told Daily Mail Australia that said she is "definitely" happy with the tattoo, though it is not yet confirmed whether it will be on her left or right cheek.

The Kiwi will jet out to Miami on January 10 where she will stay for five days, at no cost, and also get to meet Sir Ivan himself.

Price, who dreamt up the idea as a way of clearing debts, said on social media that she is happy with the result.

"Auction closed at $6500. Super happy with that!! Now to find out what's going to be tattooed on my bum," she wrote on Facebook at the time.

According to the TradeMe listing, Price, who described herself as "pretty wild" and well-known for "mooning" in the description, will also donate 10 per cent ($650) of the winning bid to charity.

"I'm a pretty wild girl so most people who know me wouldn't be surprised that I'm offering the winner of this auction to have anything tattooed on my butt," she wrote.

"Obviously, tattoos are forever so who could say no to a life time of advertisement. I am also well known for mooning my butt in public, lol.

"You may be waiting to bid on this auction for a vary of ideas: marriage proposal, business promotion, an artist wanting to share design or just because yolo [you only live once]."
