A Kiwi polyamorous dominatrix lived in a tiny Sussex bungalow with her new husband Paul and her ex-boyfriend Paul before the bizarre love triangle and her marriage imploded within weeks.

Sarah Elliott, 34, and Paul Edwards, 37, lived under the same roof as the nanny's former partner Paul Rutson, 33, whose mother admitted today: "He feels he is best out of it".

Elliott was matched on the Bumble dating app with lighting technician Paul Edwards on December 15 last year - they married ten days later in Las Vegas after meeting for the first time in departures at Gatwick Airport.

After walking down the aisle in Nevada and a short US honeymoon, the newlyweds flew back to the UK and moved in with Rutson, 33, in Crowborough.

Sarah has admitted that her new husband became 'jealous' living under the same roof as her former long-partner and the marriage is now over after just two months, the Daily Mail reported.

And today it emerged that Rutson, a local builder who was seeing her for at least three years, has also sold up and left because he felt "best off out of it", his mother Susan has said.

Rutson's mother told MailOnline: "It was a strange thing with them all living together and I don't think it was good for anyone's health. I think Paul feels he is best out of it.

"It was a very confusing situation with them all living together in that bungalow. It was unusual to say the least".

She added: "I haven't seen Sarah in some time but I can say Paul and her are not together anymore. Paul has sold the bungalow they were living in".

One neighbour said he thought the marriage to Paul Edwards was a stunt and she had never really split from her long-term boyfriend Rutson, a claim Elliott denies.

Nick Mepham said: "I didn't really believe that marriage lark because her long-term boyfriend never moved out at all. I think it was all a stunt for the papers.

"I didn't believe it for a minute. Now they have sold up and new neighbours have just moved in.'

He said the couple had lived in the £375,000 home for around three years and seemed happy.

He said: "Sarah was a nanny and looked after the children of wealthy couples. Often she would work odd hours and stay overnight caring for the children so I'd take in parcels for her.

"She was nice, friendly. Her partner Paul was in the building trade and had his own business. I think the only time we ever had words was when he'd start making a noise in his garden late at night working at some DIY project.

"They were a perfectly nice couple and I never knew the other guy".

Another neighbour, who did not want to be named, said: "I'm sure this marriage thing was just a hoax. I think she did it for money and for a bit of fame - it's ridiculous the lengths people will go to these days for a bit of attention.

"The so-called husband was only there for a couple of weeks and then disappeared".

After the wedding to Paul Edwards, Elliott, sensationally revealed her love of BDSM and fetish parties, claiming she previously found it difficult to find a man who could keep up with her high sex drive.

But after just two months the pair split, with the 34-year-old vowing never to be in a monogamous relationship again.

Elliott, who is originally from New Zealand but now lives in Crowborough, says she is "living the polyamorous lifestyle and loving it" and currently has two "toy boys".

She told The Sun: "My marriage may be over but it has opened me up to a whole new world.

"After feeling trapped in a jealous marriage it has really put me off being with one man again."

The dominatrix told the newspaper how she moved her then-husband Paul Edwards into her flat after they got married - which she shared with two ex-boyfriends also called Paul.

As the weeks went by she tried to introduce Edwards to the fetish community but claims he found it too difficult and was often jealous.

The father-of-two had moved from his flat in Chichester, West Sussex, to be with her, but things didn't work out.

At first the three Pauls got along, she claims, but rows quickly started and the situation got out of hand.

In an effort to work on their strained relationship the couple went to a sex party at the Torture Garden Club, where Elliott was first unveiled.

But she says, Edwards was unable to contain his jealousy and things deteriorated further.

Despite another reconciliation bid at a sex party at Le Boudoir in central London, Edwards eventually moved out.

Another of the Pauls also moved out, leaving Elliott struggling financially.

Elliott revealed her raunchy lifestyle late last year after MailOnline obtained photos of her topless at a fetish night organised by the Torture Garden club.

She said at the time: "It's true. I am interested in fetish and the BDSM community. I went to a fetish party in Brighton a month ago for the first time and had never been to anything like that before.

"There were dungeon rooms, you can be spanked and all sorts of things like that. There is a couples' room but we didn't go in there. We didn't participate at all.

"I went to the party on my third or fourth date with a guy. He made his outfit. He got his mum to make his out of leather.

"I wore a white corset with sparkles and a small skirt with stockings."

One of the photos of her was featured on the Facebook page of Torture Garden, a fetish club that arranges events around the UK.

Elliott set up a dating profile with OkCupid in May and is already seeing a 29-year-old and a 27-year-old at the same time.

She says she doesn't regret her relationship with her ex-husband but won't be returning to conventional dating any time soon, adding: "I am never dating another Paul again . . . it's a rubbish name anyway."

Edwards has not yet commented on his divorce.
