An English police officer who turned up for work with the hairstyle of rapper Eminem was sent home.
A spokeswoman for police in Sheffield said the officer bleached his hair for a stag party.
The spokeswoman quoted Superintendent Richard Wilson as saying the platinum blond Eminem-style cut was not appropriate for the
corporate image which police wished to portray.
The officer was back on duty after having cut his hair short.

For some doll collectors, it's a dream come true - Cher, immortalised in plastic.
First seen on an episode of the sitcom Will & Grace, a Cher doll made by Mattel will be in American shops in the next couple of weeks.
Dressed in a lavender halter dress, the doll was the centrepiece of a Will & Grace episode which featured a cameo appearance by Cher.
After the show aired, doll stores were bombarded with inquiries about how to buy the doll, which will be priced at $US39.95 ($NZ97.84).
