Now that he's put The X-Files behind him - for the time being - David Duchovny is dying to get back into women's clothes.
The actor admits to fond memories of his role as a transvestite FBI agent in David Lynch's Twin Peaks.
"I loved creating that character," he told Empire magazine."I was only on it for a few days, shaving my legs, surrounded by the strangeness - I wish I could do something like that again."
Duchovny is noncommittal on the chances of him doing another X-Files movie.
"There are no plans for a sequel as far as I know," he said, "but I imagine there will be one at some point."

Christopher Reeve looks back and laughs when he sees the screen test he did for Superman, the 1978 movie that made him a star.
"They had to have been out of their minds," he said. "I was tall but pretty skinny. It was a leap of faith.
"The makeup department came out with a foam rubber set of upper-body muscles. I said, 'I'm not going to do that. I promise, I'll go to the gym."'
After being paralysed six years ago this week in a riding accident, Reeves still directs and acts in movies.
