It's her way of reiterating the message that women should always appreciate their bodies.

The Gold Coast local isn't one to sugar coat. She regularly posts images showing off her "real body" nearly two years after giving birth.

"I am so grateful to be able to have a strong body that can throw heavy weights around AND run around after Mia," she said.

Admittedly, Skye said there was once a time she would allow her "inner nasty girl" to criticise when looking in the mirror, but said those days are long gone.

"That voice in your head can be the absolute WORST can't it! What a waste of time and energy that does not serve us at all," Skye said in her post.

Fans loved the photo, praising the mum for being "real" and "honest" about her body.

"Wrinkly belly or no you're still a beauty and have a beautiful soul," one said.

"How amazing are our bodies? We literally grew a human inside of us!!" another wrote.

"I love you for this!" one added.

She regularly reminds fans that while it is "okay to want to become 'a better version of yourself'", it is also important to "appreciate and love what you've already got right now".

"It can be hard but by shifting your focus away from how you look to how you feel and what your body is capable of it will help a LOT!"

The mother-of-one had previously said she was aware it wasn't going to be a quick and easy journey, but she embraced the changes to her body and focused on slowly building her strength — and now she is looking fitter than ever, feeling like she can do "anything".

Her post has been liked more than 147,000 times with fans leaving comments of appreciation for her honesty.

"You look strong and healthy and that is absolutely beautiful," one fan said.

"Wrinkly belly or no you're still a beauty and have a beautiful soul," another added.

Other woman were motivated by her words to share their own story and progress post baby.

"I'm working hard on toning up, but those winkles are here to stay I think! How amazing are our bodies? We literally grew a human inside of us!!"

"It's strange, I have more confidence now becoming a mum than before even with the looser skin and stretch marks. I guess it comes down to realising what really matters," another mum said.

"Ohhhhhh I love this!!!! I've just lost 28 kgs, but because of my fitness have toned but still also have some wrinkly baby belly but Im happy because I feel confident and fit."

Skye, who gave birth to her baby girl Mia in December 2017, had previously opened up about the battles she faced with training post birth, particularly developing back problems and having ab separation after giving birth.

She admitted there was a time she never thought she would achieve her fitness goals.

"There were moments when I thought I'd never get there and never feel amazing again but I committed myself. I worked hard and consistently to get here without dieting or training more than an average of 4-5 hours a week (I mainly followed my FIT app)," she said in an Instagram post in November last year.

Emily continues to embrace her post baby body while sharing her fitness journey with fans.

"I also want to be the best role model I possibly can to my beautiful daughter Mia. My body rocks and so does yours," she concluded her most recent post.
