Fashion Week: What's on today...

New Zealand's tenth annual Fashion Week kicks off later this morning with a show from Wellington-based label Starfish. Also showing today are Juliette Hogan, Andrea Moore, Sera Lilly, Cybele, Adrian Hailwood and Zambesi. The New Generation showcase will take place tonight too and footwear designer Kathryn Wilson is staging her debut show at 5.30pm.

Our team is lucky enough to be down at Halsey Street — where most of the action will be taking place over the next few days — but if you're stuck in the office and can't make it to any of the public shows, fear not: we'll be bringing you all the latest Fashion Week news as it hits the runway.

Fashion writer Janetta Mackay is reprising her role as nzherald.co.nz's 'expert eye', providing commentary on each show at this year's event. Feature writer Catherine Smith will be turning her attention to what's going on behind the scenes and sharing the latest runway makeup tips through her 'backstage beauty' pieces.

We will also be updating photo galleries throughout the day with the latest show images and our crack video team — cameraman Steve Orsbourn and presenter Noelle McCarthy - will be chasing interviews both backstage and runway-side, so you can catch up on the latest Fashion Week gossip without moving from your desk chair.
