Turn heads with dramatic back-detailing.

As the weather gradually warms up, it's an opportunity to shed the layers and explore subtle ways of baring a little more skin.

Several designers have played with cut-out panels this season, to provide a point of interest.

Designers have also focused on fringing details, ties, prints and embellishment along the backs of tops to create some discreet drama.

The sports luxe look is one that will never date and racer-back tops are a great way to work that back detail story to full effect.

Marc by Marc Jacobs' cool girl aesthetics are realised with the monochromatic print racer-back top (#2) from Workshop and Sydney-based label MLM (Minnie Loves Min) highlights a typically sexy racer-back crop top (#4) complete with a wrap-around tie - a surefire way to turn heads.

Dramatic and interesting back detailing needn't be confined to casual tops or sexy evening wear either. Have fun at work with blazers that have interesting back details that can be worn with a cleancut shirt or blouse.
