Joanna Hunkin talks with Fashion Editor Dan Ahwa about the Harry and Meghan's fashion for the NZ tour thus far.

With 76 engagements to complete in 16 days, the bill for a royal tour wardrobe is always going to be high.

The value of Meghan Markle's royal tour wardrobe up until she arrived in New Zealand was more than NZ$120,518 (£61,500), and there have been a number of black tie receptions and galas in the last few days that will have added to that tally.

Now, the Daily Mail's Femail can reveal it's possible to get the Duchess of Sussex's look for a fraction of the price, with some of the replicas of her royal tour wardrobe costing as little as NZ$26.

Although some items such as shoes and accessories like her Birks sapphire and diamond earrings aren't new purchases, almost everything else the Duchess has worn is new for the tour.

One of the looks she has worn time and again is some form of stripes.

But while Meghan's Martin Grant dresses will set you back NZ$1727 (£881) and NZ$1725 (£880), there are plenty of affordable labels selling similar styles.

Petal & Pup have one style, the Saphir, for NZ$141, which bears a striking resemblance to the full-length design Meghan wore while on Bondi Beach.

Elsewhere, The Iconic's Drift style, for NZ$130, is similar to the Reformation dress Meghan wore when departing Fraser Island last week.

Sheike are also selling a Boardwalk Maxi dress for NZ$184, which will give you an air of the Duchess of Sussex for less.

Alternatively, their Penelope shirt dress is currently on sale for NZ$96, while Witchery also have a linen stripe dress for $195.

When Meghan Markle visited Bondi Beach last Friday morning, fashionistas were quick to size up the Duchess of Sussex's shoes.

But while Meghan's Castaner canvas wedge espadrilles retail for NZ$157 (£80), you needn't spend three figures on the sold-out style to get her look for less.

In fact, there is a pair of almost identical wedges on sale at Amazon Australia for just NZ$53.

The Novo Women's Brielle style feature almost the same corkscrew nude heel, the black round-toed top section and the ties all seen on the Duchess' feet.

While the Duchess of Sussex has notoriously eschewed colour in favour of neutral tones, Meghan has shown she can wear colour, by way of a red NZ$745 (£380) Self Portrait dress and a jewel blue full length cape blue dress by designer SAFiYAA.

Those wanting to emulate Meghan's jewel-coloured look could try ASOS's midi dress in ruby red for $100, or their Chi Chi London style for NZ$151.50.

ASOS also have another midi red style, which retails for as little as NZ$26.

On the final day of their time in Tonga, Meghan also turned to colour, when she wore a blue shirt dress style by US label, Veronica Beard, which retails for NZ$907 (£463).

You can get a similar style from ASOS for just NZ$98.50.

Meghan's forest green dress by Jason Wu, for NZ$2598, was also a hit. You can get a version for NZ$106 from Warehouse.

It's not just the Duchess' red carpet looks that have attracted attention.

Her casual looks have also drawn plaudits from fashion experts the world over, including when she wore trainers to the Invictus Games and skinny jeans and a pinstripe jacket while in Australia.

Witchery have a NZ$303 pinstripe blazer that is the spitting image of Meghan's NZ$999 (£510) pinstriped linen and cotton-blend blazer by Californian brand, L'Agence.

They are also selling NZ$108 skinny jeans and a white cotton shirt for $97, to help to give you the full Meghan Markle look.

The Duke and Duchess are currently in New Zealand on the final leg of their tour.
