One UK resident's creative attempt to escape lockdown at home has delighted people around the globe after video of the bizarre antics went viral online.
Nicholas Murray and Madeline Mai-Davies, a young couple from Stevenage in Hertfordshire, shared videos on TikTok showing their neighbour sneaking out of the house disguisedas a bush.
The human-bush hybrid is seen crouching next to another shrub before breaking into a hilarious shuffle to cross the road, transforming back into a bush on the other side.
"Neighbours back at it again sneaking out during lockdown," wrote Mai-Davies under the handle @maddiedavies.x.
Over 16 million have viewed the video, with viewers saying the video was "cute" but expressing concern for the neighbour if there any dogs about.
Murray and Mai-Davies followed up the video with more of their neighbour's exploits, including another escape attempt with kids in tow dressed as black rubbish sacks.
Murray and Mai-Davies' claims of videoing their "neighbour" don't stand up to scrutiny, however, with Murray posting videos to his own TikTok showing pranks using the same costume, dubbing himself "Bushman".
