Couples reveal worst honeymoon horror stories

Most of us have heard of a honeymoon horror story, like a bad bout of gastro ruining the romance, or missing luggage derailing plans, but the latest confessions to appear online have to be among the worst.

On an online pop culture site, couples have spillied their worst honeymoon stories, including tales of partners cheating and niggling doubts.

"We didn't have sex on our honeymoon", one newlywed wrote.

"I accidently booked a twin room for our honeymoon, but I'm happy about it as it means we'll have less sex," a woman said.

While other newlyweds were already seeking intimacy elsewhere.

"I cheated on my husband on our honeymoon," a woman confessed.

"My husband and I got a hooker together on our honeymoon," another said.

For another couple, the in-laws were the problem: "He won't have sex with me because it's his parents house. Worst honeymoon," a newlywed wrote.

Some of the worst confessions involved one of the partner's regretting the marriage.

"My husband got drunk on our honeymoon and told me he never wanted to marry me," one woman wrote.

While another candidly said, "The first time I considered divorce was on our honeymoon."

One woman even said she returned from her honeymoon alone. "My husband left me five days after our wedding... on our honeymoon in Mexico", she wrote. "Turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me."

At least that story had a happy ending.
