An American judge has extended a ban on the sale and distribution of a home-made sex video starring Colin Farrell and his ex-girlfriend.

Farrell filed a lawsuit against former Playboy Playmate Nicole Narain in a bid to block commercial exploitation of the 15-minute videotape of them having sex.

Narain's lawyers say she wants only to ensure she keeps her half of the rights to the video.
