The multi-millionaire art collector and his wife were photographed at their table outside the famous Scott's seafood restaurant in Mayfair eight days ago on Saatchi's 70th birthday during a seemingly bitter argument which left Lawson in tears.

A plate of crispy battered prawns, mushrooms, tomato and arugula tossed with spaghettini and a cream sauce has taken the cake as the most calorie-rich chain restaurant dish in America.

Packing a whopping 3120 calories, the Cheesecake Factory's Bistro Shrimp Pasta, which sells in Washington for $US17.95 (NZ$21.30), loomed large over other gut-busting menu items on this year's Xtreme Eating Awards list.

Britain's Food Standards Agency has issued a nationwide warning about misleading and illegal claims made on the labels of manuka honey jars, in a worrying blow to the fast-growing Kiwi industry.

New Zealand manuka honey commands prices 10 to 20 times higher than other types of honey because of its unique and much-vaunted anti-bacterial properties.

American burger chain In-N-Out Burger is operating a pop-up store in Auckland to test whether New Zealand has potential as a market for permanent outlets.

But fast food fans had to be quick. The temporary outlet, located at Ponsonby Central on Ponsonby Rd, was set up for one day only and sold out of food around 2.15. It was due to have shut its doors at 3pm.

Jamie Oliver claims in his new cookbook that all the recipes can be cooked in 15 minutes, so long as you've done the preparation. And without even breaking a sweat, the famous chef shows you how in his show on TV3. Oliver says his new book is his most accessible yet, "suitable for all ages and skill levels''.

The Weekend Herald, like other overseas media, put it to the test - the pro Geoff Scott, owner of Vinnie's, and the amateur, reporter Amelia Wade. It took more than an hour, two supermarkets and nearly $100 to get the ingredients for both dishes, then 10 minutes opening, heating and preparing the ingredients before the clock started.
