The au-naturel look is perfect for long summer days. But there's a fine line between being your radiant best and looking a bit peaky. The key is to add subtle, blended colour and avoid any harsh lines or heavy application of product.
Start with clean, hydrated skin (avoid anything greasy) and add glow to your complexion with an SPF tinted moisturiser, or for slightly more coveage, apply a liquid foundation and concealer only to areas that need it, and blend well.
For eyes, cheeks and lips use a colour palette of bronze, gold, nudes, soft pinks and peach. A cream blush is perfect, applied only to the apples of the cheeks and blended well. For eyes, a little definition goes a long way, so use a light hand. Apply mascara with a fine brush and use the lightest possible application of product on your brows, or the look won't come together. Finish with a light dusting of illuminating powder on the high planes of the face.
