Kapiti News advertising consultant Parita Bose is the proud holder of an international media award.
In the recent Panpa Advertising and Marketing Awards, the Wanganui Chronicle, which Parita used to work for before transferring to the Kapiti News this year, was the winner of the best print single advertisement fora regional client.
As the driving force behind the publicity campaign, the Panpa award was specifically given to Parita and now sits pride of place in the Kapiti News office.
The free app, makes it easier for local businesses to communicate with their potential customers, has many exciting features from real estate listings, loyality programmes, events and more.
It gives businesses a platform to generate a bigger customer base, promoting and marketing to a captive audience.
The newspaper campaign was successful because within a week the client had signed 19 businesses, had six businesses to follow up and another six presentations to conduct.
Parita, born in India, brought up in Kenya, immigrated to New Zealand in recent years with her husband Rony, and has won a number of NZME national awards but this is her first international award.
