Jeanine and Helene are well known in Kapiti for running interesting food events and are co-owners of the Kapiti Food Fair, an annual showcase of New Zealand produced food and beverage, related products and the united nations of ready to eat foods.
"Both of us have been actively involved with running Visa Wellington On a Plate events in Kapiti since inception of the festival nine years ago," Helene said.

Meanwhile, the Wellington Food Truck Rally will be visiting Kapiti Monday and Tuesday, August 20-21 in the Pak'nSave Kapiti carpark.
And local eateries signed up to the festival are Beach Road Deli in Paekakariki, The Waterfront at Raumati Beach and Waimea restaurant at Waikanae Beach.
