This is a translation in te reo of this story, to mark Maori Language Week.

KEY POINTS:

"I pouri tonu ahau i taku pohehe, ka whakanuia e tatou katoa o Aotearoa, to tatou ahurei motuhake.

"Heoi, kaore i pera."

"Kia pono, kaore i mau i ahau nga kupu Ingarihi katoa, a, ko etehi he rereke.

"Te aro i a ratou a tatou take ahurea-rua, reo-rua ranei."

Ataahua rawa."

I whakahekengia a whaea Glavich mo ana mihi "kia ora".
