Under dark and gloomy weather conditions, College Old Boys played Foxton at Easton Park, Foxton on Saturday May 29, which was also Old Timers' day for the Foxton Rugby Club.
Possession changed as much as the weather in the opening moments of the game with Foxton scoring an early try.COB fought back to open their ledger with an early penalty.
COB then started the landslide to dominate on the score board by being up 17-5 at halftime.
During the break Foxton assistant coach Tipu Luke encouraged his players, "with the wind at our backs now, don't waste our possession."
COB coach Axel Nielsen told his players, "we're here for the battle which won't be won easily. They're going to come back into it and we have to give them that respect."
Despite the loss, there were many other highlights of the rugby club's Old Timers' day.

Another great moment was when Foxton premiere No 8, Pita Marshall, received his blazer for playing his 30th game for the club. The blazer was presented to him by assistant coach Tipu Luke.
And, on Friday evening, May 28, the Foxton Juniors received their new team hoodies, which were presented by one of the club's sponsors, Jason Davy from Foxton New World.
