"We want to lift the positivity of Levin."
Ferguson said there were always people willing to join in, and they were encouraged to, and to bring their own style and let the music take them on their own journey of impromptu dance.
The style of dance and music varied. Some days it could be quite intense, moving to Rage Against The Machine, while other days it could be more sedate with earthy roots-based rhythms.
"We dance to all genres of music and its a good way of using this space," she said.
Her dance partner Andy Van der Heyden said he enjoyed letting off steam and joining in.
"It's her baby. I'm just along for the ride," he said.
Ferguson, who is a midwife, also runs a Facebook page called Living Laughing Loving with posts about connecting people and increasing positive energy.
The positivity message had other mediums, including laughing yoga sessions and messages of affirmation in chalk on the pavement.
