Actor John Boyega fears the new Star Wars movie may not live up to the high standards of the sci-fi saga's fans.
John, who will appear as a stormtrooper named Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, revealed he and the movie's director J.J. Abrams share concerns over how it will be received.
When asked if the new movie is everything that Star Wars fans hope it will be, John tells Deadline.com, "I think for now, based on what I saw, and based on my experiences on the set, I just don't know.
"This is a discussion I was having with J.J. yesterday and I was just like 'How are people going to react to this movie?' But there's going to be a reaction for sure.
"I'm going to try to see it as many times as possible with different audiences just to gauge everyone's opinions of it."
Last week a new trailer for the film was released on the Star Wars Facebook page, which focuses more on the movie's villain Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in New Zealand on 17 December, a day earlier than in the US.
The film, which takes place 30 years after the events of 1983's Return of the Jedi, also stars Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley, Carrie Fisher and Oscar Isaac.
