Why True Detective's second season 'sucked'

Spoiler alert: This article contains True Detective plot spoilers.

Crime drama True Detective Season 2 wrapped up this week and the overwhelming consensus is that it "sucked".

Here's why, according to Twitter:

The opening song

"True Detective season 2's opening song sucks," tweeted Melvin Goh.

"I knew season 2 of True Detective would suck when they changed the opening theme from season 1 which was excellent. S2 sucks," tweeted Aichael Mntypas.

"I think I have a hard time liking True Detective season 2 because the intro song sucks so much," tweeted Kyle Gatlin.

The crazy plot

"I honestly have no idea WTF is going in @TrueDetective season 2. 6 episodes in and it sucks compared to season 1," tweeted Jason Ellis.

"After two episodes of True Detective season 2 I can confidently say I have no idea what is happening and it kinda sucks," tweeted jm, @JaMoussalli.

The actors

"People are surprised that True Detective season 2 sucks? Vince Vaughn was cast as the villian (sic). Enough said," tweeted Hans McBrewber.

The characters
