Nick Jonas' is obsessed with Emilia Clarke's Instagram account.

The 23-year-old singer admits it is very "strange" to confess to admiring someone's social media page, but he loves seeing the behind-the-scenes photos the Game of Thrones actress shares online.

Appearing alongside Emilia on The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw, the Close singer revealed that he had met the 29-year-old actress at an Oscars after party, and had told her he was both a fan of Game of Thrones, and her Instagram.

He said: "We have already met. At the Oscars after party. And I wasn't like, 'I'm a fan of your show'. Actually that was a part of what I was like. But I was also like 'I'm a fan of your Instagram'. I don't know if [that's] a strange thing to say."

Emilia - who was on the show to promote new movie Me Before You - was flattered by the former 'Jonas Brother's comments.

She said: "It's an amazing thing to say!"

But Nick has admitted he was embarrassed by his comments at the Oscars and blamed it on too many cocktails.

He said: "It was maybe after one or two cocktails that I said that. It was highly embarrassing."

Speaking about his love for Game of Thrones, Nick said: "I didn't watch the show for a few years and then people demanded that I watch it so I got into it and fell in love with the show."

Elsewhere in the interview, Emilia said she'd get in touch with the Game of Thrones producers to get Nick a part on the show, in which she plays blonde-haired Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen.

She said: "I'll email them now. I'll be like 'listen, he's open to dying his hair Targaryen blonde'."
