Vin Diesel has revealed his latest film could have left him homeless.
The hunky actor decided to invest his house into making his new film Riddick and joked he would be out on the streets if he didn't complete it.
"I had to leverage my house," he told The HollywoodReporter. "If we didn't finish the film, I would be homeless."
Vin produced and acts in the flick which is the third instalment of the sci-fi series after 2000's Pitch Black and 2004's The Chronicles of Riddick.
He revealed that two fans encouraged him to add to the saga by saying, " 'We want a rated-R movie and we'd be willing to pay $10 each. Surely you'd have enough to make it then.'
"Something about that comment made me think, bless their heart, and if I can do anything with this new-found success, if I could do anything at all, I could deliver on that wish.
"It's a strange and unique sense of gratification, and it's not like any film I've done in the last 10 years."
Riddick hits cinemas on September 6 and the star doesn't appear to have any money problems for the moment.
