It also saw an increase in its target demographic with 165,000 viewers aged 25-54 tuning in, ahead of last year's 160,000.
That made it the most-watched programme in the 25-54 demographic in its timeslot, however, it couldn't beat TV One's Our First Home for total number of viewers, with the renovation series pulling 53,000 more viewers than The Bachelor.
The figures are down on season one's average audience, which saw 322,000 viewers tune in per episode, however, last year saw the audience numbers grow significantly over the course of the season.
