Anglo-American duo The Kills are returning to New Zealand for two shows in July.
The indie rock outfit will play at Auckland's Powerstation on Thursday July 28 and Wellington's Shed 6 the following night.
It's the first NZ jaunt in seven years for Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince and thetour comes soon after the June 3 release of the band's fifth album, Ash & Ice.
It's the band's first album in five years.
Since 2009, Mosshart has also been singing and touring with The Dead Weather, a side project for singer-guitarist Jack White which has now released three albums.
The Kills won rave reviews for their set at the Coachella Festival last month.
After winning over Kiwi crowds at last year's Laneway Festival, the LA-based soul collective will return to headline off the back of their latest album.
The Grammy-nominated Ego Death is their third album and has been described as their "most evolved", featuring collaborations with the likes of Janelle Monae and rappers Tyler the Creator, and Vic Mensa.
The live band is a six-person operation, featuring Patrick Paige II, Christopher Allan Smith, Jameel Bruner and Steve Lacy joining Internet founders Syd and Matt.
They'll play Auckland's Powerstation on August 2, and Wellington's Shed 6 on August 4.
