The surprising meal Selena Gomez ate backstage at the Victoria's Secret show

Selena Gomez may have dominated the catwalk at this year's Victoria's Secret show, but not without eating a decent meal.

The star posted pictures on Instagram of her beauty preparation ahead of the performance, pouting while wearing the signature pink silk VS robe and blue contacts.

She followed up with a slightly less glamorous picture of herself eating McDonald's chips and a burger backstage.

Gomez accompanied the photo with a note: "Why do you think I covered my stomach during the show??"

The singer donned a low v neck dress with a thigh high split at the front, and played her new hit Hands to Myself.

She later called on her Victoria's Secret model buddies to take part in a new video for the track.

Lily Aldridge and Behati Prinsloo are part of the team filmed lip syncing to the tune.
