Grammy winner Taylor Swift stepped out of the spotlight over the weekend to serve as the maid of honour at her childhood friend's wedding.
The pop-star performed her duties as bridesmaid as long-time friend Brit Maack exchanged vows with Ben Lamanna in Pennsylvania over the weekend, E Online reports.
"I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten," the singer said on Instagram, alongside a group photo from the wedding.
"Now they're married and I'm the happiest maid of honor ever. Congratulations @britmaack and Ben!"
The Bad Blood singer posted a series of photos from the wedding as well as throwback photos of her and Maack in "freshmen year" and "senior year".
According to E Online, the pair were dressed by high-end designer Reem Acro.
The Bride wore a white capped sleeve lace A-line gown and a lengthy transparent veil, while Swift wore a soft pink, full-length gown, embroidered with sparkle.
The day seemed to travel perfectly for the bride who posted a series of photos on Instagram describing it as the "best day".
"These are my people, these people and everyone who surrounded us this weekend with their love as we celebrated our love," Maack said.
"Love you all, most importantly, love you @benlamanna, happy to be your WIFE!"
"The best friend, the best family, the best groom and the best day."
