"The only flight they could get us on was around seven o'clock [tonight]. The concert starts at that time and even after we land we still have to drive for an hour from the airport."
The 18-year-old last night said she and her friend would be returning to the airport early in the morning.
"We don't know how much luck we'll have. We're just going to pray some people don't turn up."
Last night, JetStar did not have any seats available on today's Christchurch to Auckland flights. A spokeswoman for the airline said they were trying to re-book passengers who had been affected by yesterday's cancellations on to available flights.
Other Lady Gaga fans, or Little Monsters as the pop star refers to them, had decided to take the situation into their own hands. One Little Monster posted on Twitter she was driving to Nelson from Christchurch overnight in order to make it to tonight's concert.
Another fan, who was also stranded in Christchurch yesterday and supposed to be attending tonight's concert, tweeted he was so dedicated to the US superstar he had bought tickets to her Sunday show.
