Steven Tyler reveals much younger lover

Steven Tyler has made his relationship with his 28-year-old assistant public.

The 67-year-old rocker has long been romantically linked to Aimee Ann Preston - who is 39 years younger than him - and the pair now appear to have confirmed their romance after being spotted holding hands at Sir Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscar Viewing Party.

An eyewitness told E! that the couple also showed off their affection for each other inside the star-studded bash.

The Aerosmith frontman - who has children Liv, 38, Mia, 37, Chelsea 27 and Taj, 25 - and Aimee were first rumoured to be in a relationship back in 2014.

The pair have been photographed together before, including in their swimsuits while enjoying a spot of kayaking.

It's not the first time Steven has gone for a younger woman - he was previously engaged to Erin Brady, who was 25 years his junior, in 2011, five years after they started dating, but they broke off their engagement in 2013.

The star has been married twice, most recently to clothing designer Teresa Barrick - who he has kids Chelsea and Taj with - from 1988 to 2006.

Steven married his first wife Cyrinda Foxe - the mother of his daughter Mia - in 1978 but they divorced in 1987 and the actress sadly died from brain cancer in 2002.

His daughter Liv is from a brief relationship with Bebe Buell, 62, a former Playboy Playmate of the Month.
