John Key's children, Max and Stephanie, have raised plenty of eyebrows with their postings on social media this year. But their powerful Dad has resolutely stood by them.

Now the social media use by another set of youths close to him are bringing the Prime Minister some special attention.
Last Friday, a posting on the Instagram account of the New Zealand Young Nats - featuring some who will carry the National Party into the future - featured Key drinking out of the Bledisloe Cup with the message: "When the taxi arrives but you haven't finished pre-drinks yet", and the accompanying #TGIF hashtag.
Spy understands the humour involved with being a Young Nat, but it's likely some of their borderline cheeky posts probably don't go down too well within the Beehive.
Spy sought comment from the the PM, who was in Hawaii with his family this week, about the posting. A spokesman replied on Wednesday: "The Young Nats, as a political group, operate quite independently from the PM and his office and we don't make a habit of commenting on their social media engagement."
The New Zealand Young Nats hadn't responded at press time.
