Spy: VNZMAS are all go

New Zealand's No 1 red carpet event takes place outside Vector Arena before the Vodafone NZ Music Awards on Thursday. As Spy.co.nz reported, Lorde will be in attendance but lips are sealed on who she will be wearing.

Designer Karen Walker is attending, and won't be wearing her own label, but will don another in which she has business interests - Topshop.

Spy has heard a large number of the night's celebrities and nominees have been into the Queen St store.

The jetsetting Six60 boys are already in town and, rather than get fitted in threads, they have apparently planned a fishing trip to relax before the big night.

Meanwhile, Spy has heard some of our top musicians, including Ladi6, Anika Moa and Jordan Luck turned up at the Kings Arms Tavern last week. Also in tow was Lorde's boyfriend, photographer James K Lowe.

It turns out it was a top-secret photo shoot to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the awards, featuring some of New Zealand's iconic musicians.

Spy.co.nz will have all the action from the awards' red carpet and beyond, at what is known as one of the best parties of the year.

Our team will be on site at the Pullman Hotel as the stars sit down with their glam squads to primp and preen for the big night.

We have the red carpet covered with our Spy hosts PJ Harding and Ricardo Simich, as well as the official Spy Glam Cam 360.

Our good friend Anika Moa will also join the team for the night. She will revive her hit Herald webseries Face-to-Face for a Music Awards special, accosting her friends and fellow musicians as only she can.

Plus, we'll have live coverage of the winners, the speeches and behind-the-scenes mischief from the official Spy After Party.
