Policeman turned sparky Damo Neal set hearts throbbing with his chiselled abs and bulging biceps on last year's series of The Block NZ.
And now the 36-year-old may be set to unleash his fancy footwork on TV3's reboot of Dancing with the Stars.
Damo and his stunning wife, Jo, pocketed $61,000 after the sale of their house on The Block.
Five months on from the show's live auction, the pair are living in different cities; Jo is building her interior design business in Manawatu and Damo is in Auckland learning the electrical trade.
Spy thinks good-natured Damo will be a natural on the dance floor and an instant fan favourite.
Colin Mathura-Jeffree, 42, is also tipped to unleash some sassy moves on DWTS. But the former New Zealand's Next Top Model judge and NZ's Hottest Home Baker host would not confirm he has been shoulder-tapped for the show.
TV3 is also expected to turn to one of the stars of its other reality hit, The X Factor NZ, for talent for the celebrity dance-off, with singer Tom Batchelor, 23, a likely starter.
Former Shortland Street stars Shavaughn Ruakere, 27, and Teuila Blakely, 39, who giggled to Spy when asked, would also add some spice to the line-up.
The network is also doing the rounds of former politicians and sports stars. PR guru Chris Henry, who has been charged with securing the dancers, told Spy: "I am not short of talent knocking down my door."
Stars from rival stations TV One and 2 are discounted, for obvious reasons. That means no current Shorty St stars or popular anchors like Simon Dallow, Toni Street or Wendy Petrie. Shame. We all know how hot Wendy was as a cheerleader.
