Soundsplash has released its first line-up announcement for 2018 and it's a showcase of major local talent.
Kiwi band Shapeshifter lead the announcement, with Onehunga hip-hop group SWIDT, Kiwi favourite Katchafire, Maori soul singer Teeks and Kiwi rapper JessB among many other much-loved New Zealand names.
Coming from overseas forthe summer festival are Perth dance/hip-hop duo Slumberjack, Melbourne's Dub FX, Fortunes and Pierce Brothers, Poland's Dreadsquad and Jamaica-based Nattali Rize.
The popular festival, which sold out last year, will take place at Raglan's Wainui Reserve, boasting stunning coastal views, on-site camping and beach access.
It's on from January 19-21, adding to an already jam-packed summer festival season, which includes Laneway, Bay Dreams, One Love, Rhythm and Vines, Splore and more.
The rest of the first line-up announcement includes: Ocean Alley, Cornerstone Roots, Alien Weaponry, Tunes of I, Bailey Wiley, Aroha & Tali, Sunshine Sound System and Jamin-I and there are more announcements still to come.
