Jordan Feldstein has died unexpectedly at the age of 40.
He was the longtime manager of Adam Levine's band Maroon 5 and is the older brother of actor Jonah Hill, said the Daily Mail.
A spokeswoman for the band confirmed Saturday that Feldstein died unexpectedly Friday.
The Feldstein family said in a statement that Jordan Feldstein called 911 after experiencing shortness of breath Friday.
He had gone into cardiac arrest by the time paramedics arrived and died a short time later.
Feldstein was the founder and chief executive of Career Artist Management and had managed Maroon 5 since its inception 15 years ago.
His company also counts Miguel, The B-52s, Elle King and Rick Springfield among its clients.
Feldstein's younger sister Beanie Feldstein currently stars in Oscar-favorite Lady Bird.
Jordan, Jonah, and Beanie's parents are costume designer Sharon Lyn and Guns N' Roses accountant and top showbiz business manager Richard Feldstein.
Many took to social media to react to react to the music exec's death including Tidal Vice President of Culture & Content Tony Gervino.
He wrote: 'Awful news. Jordan Feldstein was fiercely protective of his artists and their art and always delivered good or bad news personally. A mensch. RIP.'
Variety executive editor Shirley Halperin wrote: 'Sad news this morning... Thoughts go out to @maroon5 and the CAM family.'
Besides his two actor siblings and parents, Feldstein was survived by his two children.
