The Real Housewives of Auckland star Angela Stone says she was shocked by her co-star's behaviour in the debut episode of the show, which left her in tears.
"I didn't see it coming. I didn't think a woman could be that nasty to another woman who doesn't really know her."
The debut episode saw Stone break down in tears, after fellow housewife Michelle Blanchard questioned her modelling experience.
As the six women came together to celebrate Julia Sloane's birthday - the first time the women had all met - Stone was introduced as a model.

"You still model? What, plus size?" asked Blanchard.
Despite ignoring the remark at first, Stone later excused herself and had to be comforted outside by Louise Wallace and Sloane, before she returned inside to confront Blanchard about her comment.
Speaking to the Herald, Stone said she was stunned by the remark, which had upset her deeply.
She also took the opportunity to throw some shade of her own at Blanchard, who is still registered with Clyne Model Management.
"She's an ex-model. I'm a current model. Models have changed. The thing is, you don't have to be a size 8 to be a model today. I'm actually really proud of my body.
"To be called a plus size model because of the size of my bust. I think 'wow - what is she getting at?' She didn't have it in her to say 'because of the size of you Angela'. It was quite confronting."
