Real Housewife Angela Stone has opened up about her family's history with mental illness and her mother's death.
Speaking at an event this week, Stone revealed her mother suffered from depression throughout her life and committed suicide in 2004.
Her brother went missing in 2007 and his whereabouts remains unknown.
Stone opened up about the tragedy to pledge her support to the Mental Health Foundation and Mental Health Awareness Week, which is currently taking place.
Last week, the reality star touched on her family's circumstances revealing she was raised by her grandmother in an emotional scene on The Real Housewives of Auckland.
"I had just a lot of sadness. I didn't want to be that child that didn't have a mum," she said in the episode, before revealing her twin brother, who she grew up with, is no longer in her life.
"We don't know where he is right now," she said, breaking down in tears.
