Outcry over Bachelorette's 'dirty, grubby' antics

Everyone remembers the fart that stopped a nation - the moment Poppy Salter eeked out a squeaker while on a Bachelor date with Art Green.

Now, it's happened again.

In the opening episode of The Bachelor Australia, viewers saw a potential lover for Matthew 'Matty J' Johnson involved in a series of incredibly awkward moments before blatantly letting one rip.

"My hands are sticky - they're a little bit moist," said Natalie, getting things off to a weird start when she first met Matty J.

Matty didn't say a word, but Natalie moved in uncomfortably close to repeat the word "moist" over and over again.

After exposing her issues with moistness, Natalie decided we were now all friends and told Matty J about how she was dating a woman last year but his appearance on The Bachelorette made her straight again.

Oh, and then she sniffs her fingers.

Natalie then started getting a little too jolly with the other girls. And as she went to do a funny walk across the patio, she stopped and lifted her leg.

Then she giggled and ran off.

It sent shockwaves across the Bachelor mansion. The other girls were stunned.

"Did she just fart?" the other girls murmured over and over. Another Bachelorette, Jennifer, was particularly offended.

"What woman does that? That kind of behaviour is just grubby. It's dirty. And that's not me - I'm a lady. I've got my life together I act like a woman," she said, disgusted.

It's a reminder of the time on The Bachelor NZ when bachelorette Poppy Salter also let one rip.
