Kahan’s 2022 Stick Season became a cultural phenomenon. Over the span of two years, the 4x Platinum album and its 8x Platinum title track reached No 1 across North America, the UK, and Europe, becoming the fourth best-selling album of 2024 and remaining in the Top 15 more than three years after its release.
Before his stadium tour, Kahan will release his fourth studio album, The Great Divide, on April 24 on Mercury Records. The release is poised to be one of the year’s biggest album releases, with Billboard signalling it as an early contender for the 2027 Grammy Album of the Year.
Written after his rapid rise to global fame, the album is said to feature Kahan at his “most honest, reflective, and emotionally resonant - grappling with success, identity, family, distance, and the unspoken truths that separate people from one another”.
On April 13, Netflix will release a documentary, Noah Kahan: Out of Body, following Kahan across a transformative year of sold-out tours and mounting expectations after the breakout success of Stick Season propels him into global stardom
Directed by Nick Sweeney, the film premiered at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival, drawing critical acclaim, with Variety calling it “a beautiful and revealing documentary”.
Rolling Stone said the 94-minute documentary “doesn’t flinch from showing the challenges that went along with his astonishing rise”.
In 2023, following the release of Stick Season, Kahan launched his mental health non-profit, The Busyhead Project, which has raised over $6.6 million to date in support of its mission to increase awareness around the importance of mental health.
