It looked like fart. It sounded like a fart. But did Taylor Swift really let one rip at the MTV Awards?
Organisers of the ceremony say no.
Fans raised the question after a fart-sounding noise was heard during Taylor Swift's introduction for her new video Wildest Dreams.

The reaction was so, er, swift, that MTV was forced to take the unusual step of releasing an official statement.
They denied the pop superstar had broken wind, and said there was "no possibility" of their mics picking up a fart.
The noise was blamed it on a different microphone.
"MTV can confirm that the sound heard in the moment Taylor Swift introduced her new music video, Wildest Dreams, was isolated to a production microphone," organisers said.
"There was absolutely no possibility of it being Taylor or anyone in her party's microphones picking up ambient sounds."
Swift won several major awards on Monday, including best female video and best pop video for Blank Space, and best collaboration for Bad Blood.
