She began voicing children's animation Peppa Pig at the tender age of five.

And voice over artist Harley Bird, now 16, is reportedly on track to be a millionaire by the time she turns 21 as it's claimed the teen is already raking in £1000 an hour (NZ$1934) according to DailyMail.

According to The Daily Star, Harley's job depicting the titular farm animal sees her easily earn in excess of £12,000 (NZ$23,215) per week - and her riches are only set to heighten as the years go on.

A source told the publication: "Harley is the most successful teenage voiceover artist in Britain right now. She is hot property and easily earns £1000 an hour."

They added: "She's also difficult to replace as she's mature enough to be a great actress but still has the distinctive voice families around the world know as Peppa."

Harley spoke about her time voicing the anthropomorphic pig during an appearance on This Morning earlier this month, where she admitted that producers would read her lines for her to mimic when she first started out as a tot.

She explained: "They used to read the lines out to me and I would copy them back.

"I've done Peppa for 11 years now I understand the character, how she speaks and how she would do things.

"I have to change voices…I have managed to keep it the same throughout… you have to act through it."

As well as her fortune, Harley's parents Gill and Craig are said to run multi-million pound crane and lifting company GGR group, which has a turnover of £22million a year.

The family live on a farm near Tring, Hertfordshire, where Harley aptly keeps two pigs called Peppa and George.

Despite Peppa Pig being broadcast in 180 territories and in 40 different languages, Harley admitted she's overjoyed that working as a voiceover artist means she doesn't get noticed.

She told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: "I don't get recognised. I went the other weekend [to Peppa Pig world], I was on the dinosaur ride with my brother and everyone was giving me strange looks.

"Me and my brother were snorting and I was doing some lines."

The Peppa Pig franchise is now worth an estimated £1.4 billion.
