The Prime Minister's son finally gets the key to the house when he turns 21 on Wednesday. The party will be this weekend at his folks' house.
Spy understands the neighbours and the PM's diplomatic service shouldn't be in for too much of a headache as one source said the party would be small and exclusive.
As well as family and school friends from Kings College, neighbour and interior designer Andrew Melville has made the guest list, as well as Remix editor, Steven Fernandez, who heads up a bunch of "new" friends Key has made in his burgeoning musical and celebrity career.
Fernandez has recently shot Key jnr for a number of shirtless pics for its June magazine, including one where he strips down to his Calvin's with the confidence of a CK model.
It has been a busy time for Key. This week he DJed for a large Christchurch crowd and attended the X-Men premiere and last weekend he started a two-week shoot for a racy video for his second track. Produced by Lily and Louis director Jon Ramage, the video is being shot in Auckland, Waiheke and Mt Maunganui and a sexy model is to make a steamy appearance.
But Key hasn't chucked away his university course in finance, property and accounting - we're told he takes his studies seriously and has assignments due this week. Sounds like there will be lots to celebrate at the weekend.
