Louise Wallace looks set for a return to TV.
The 56-year-old is on the shortlist of the cast of The Real Housewives of Auckland.
Wallace, the former TV reporter and presenter who was also the quiz-master of the New Zealand version of The Weakest Link, is no stranger to reality TV. She appeared in Celebrity Treasure Island as a contestant and host.
Other high-profile names on the producer's shortlist of potential talent are Bob Jones' ex-wife Kham Jones, Carita Fenning (whose ex-husband Warren is now happily with Sally Ridge), socialite and businesswoman Paula Herbert and fashion adviser Angela Stone.
Australian-based production company Matchbox Productions told Spy it was not ready to announce the final line-up, but it is understood filming will begin around Auckland next month.
An extensive audition process has been conducted and Spy understands contracts are in the hands of several well-known women about town.
The Real Housewives is an American franchise which launched in 2005. Over the past decade it has followed the loves and lives of well-heeled women in Orange County, New York City, Beverly Hills and Miami.
Now it's Auckland's turn and Spy can't wait!
