The Auckland 'it' girl had social media abuzz last night when she took to Instagram saying she was co-host of the upcoming Survivor NZ.

But it seems the blonde was simply having a bit of fun with the post.
When approached for confirmation of Chenery's Instagram announcement, TVNZ said there was "no truth" to her post and reiterated that no hosts for the new show had yet been confirmed.
"There's no truth to it, and we're still in the stages of finding a host," a TVNZ spokesperson said, adding they would make no further comment.
TVNZ announced yesterday that a local adaptation of the long-running hit reality show Survivor would be coming to TV2.

The hit reality show makes teams live in tribes on remote islands and compete in challenges with limited food and supplies, with contestants forming alliances and eliminating each other one by one.
Applications have opened for those wanting to be contestants on the show. As yet, TVNZ haven't confirmed prize money, the location or the host.
