Jokes about TV3's Tuesday night line-ups are taking off as viewers poke fun at the network's police-heavy prime time schedule.

Last night, three police-based reality shows screened on TV3 last night: Road Cops at 7pm, followed by All New Road Cops at 7.30pm, and Gold Coast Cops at 8pm.

All three shows featured in TV3's most watched shows for the night, with All New Road Cops ranking No. 1 with 233,000 viewers, reported.

Campbell Live finished on Friday and was replaced by Road Cops until TV3's new current affairs show begins airing in four weeks' time.

Viewers started poking fun at TV3's cop shows, posting jokes with the hashtag '#allcopsallthetime'.

The hashtag started trending last night, and was still going strong this morning.

Some included titles of potential cop shows TV3 could commission.

The NZ Police Force even got in on the joke, posting a tweet that said they were enjoying some of the suggestions.
