A familiar face is about to return to New Zealand television screens as one Kiwi is taking another shot at love - via reality TV.
Travis Thomson first became a regular on Kiwi screens when he and his buddy Jeremy Aldworth appeared on My Kitchen Rules last year.

The pair became fast favourites on the show for their give-it-a-go attitude, unfailing humour and more notably, Travis' quest for love.
Many a joke was made about how the Dunedin cook was looking for a new special someone and he was told at least once during the show to give it up and get on Tinder.
Now it turns out he's gone a step further, because Travis is due to appear on Kiwi reality dating show First Dates tonight.
He appeared in a promo clip posted to the show's Facebook page, in which he describes himself as "Mr Nice Guy" and the guy who "always ends up in the friend zone".
While he reckons his MKR fame helped out on nabbing those Tinder matches, he's now after a "substantial girlfriend", whom he hopes to find on First Dates.
Fans are just as excited about Travis' TV return as he is, with one commenting on Facebook:
"Whoever gets this awesome lad will be a lucky lass. The best barrel of laughs and the man can cook. Come on ladies you'll have fun."
Tune in to see if Travis' second round of reality TV will see him get lucky in love at 8.30 tonight on TVNZ 2.
