A machine gun-toting Henry Cavill has shared a "powerful" good luck message to the touring British and Irish Lions ahead of their second test against the All Blacks.
In an Instagram video, the British star (and rugby fan), who has been in New Zealand for the last month shooting thesixth film in the Mission: Impossible franchise - M:I 6, wished his team well for the "all important" match tonight at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.
The 34-year-old said he was speaking to viewers using his mind because of the machine gun's sound.
He shared a similar video, captured while on a helicopter ride in Queenstown, with his followers last weekend before the Lions' first clash against the All Blacks at Eden Park.
Cavill, who shot to international stardom after playing Superman in Man of Steel in 2013, also took to social media to gush about New Zealand's scenery, saying Milford Sound was "magic".
His M:I6 co-star and countryman Simon Pegg posted his own tribute to Queenstown on Instagram along with a photo of him with the iconic lake in the background.
However, Pegg and Cavill's American co-star - Mission Impossible's leading man Tom Cruise - has been elusive during his time down under, staying quiet on social media while in the country.
But the superstar looked smiley while braving a cold snap in Queenstown for a photo last month, which McQuarrie uploaded to Instagram.
