Matthew Perry was 'out of it' during three seasons of Friends

Matthew Perry doesn't remember three years of Friends because he was "a little out of it".

The 46-year-old actor - who has previously suffered from drug and alcohol addictions admits his memory of portraying Chandler Bing in the popular sitcom is a little hazy from series three to six in the late 1990s.

When asked about his least favourite Friends episode, he said: "I don't remember three years of it, so none of those.

"I was a little out of it at the time ... Somewhere between seasons three and six."

Matthew's Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) and Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani) are set to reunite on stage in London for a pre-recorded segment on Must See TV: A Tribute to James Burrows.

While Matthew recently revealed he has been too busy rehearsing for his London play The End of Longing to record the segment, he wouldn't be surprised if the group got together to film a Friends reunion episode at some point in the future.

Speaking on Chris Evans' BBC Radio 2 show, he added: "I don't know what the price would be but I think the actors would actually be open to it, I do. I think we would be open to doing something, some kind of TV special. I don't know about a movie.

"It's kind of tough because we've ended on such a high note that we don't want to ruin it, so we'd want to be really careful. Sometimes when you do a reunion it's terrible, and it sort of ruins the memory of the good show that you've done before.

"We've talked about it a little bit over dinner, we like to get together for dinner and we have a good time together.

"It's a really good group, there isn't a jerk in the group and that really saved us for ten years."
